There are many ways to control the room temperature: with the LUXORliving R718 room thermostat, the iON push button and room controller with integrated temperature sensor, the LUXORplay app or voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
LUXORplay keeps you in control of the temperature even when you’re away from home. You can use it to design individual scenes that integrate heating, cooling and shading, for example. Alternatively, the room temperature can also be measured via a temperature sensor on the LUXORliving T4 or T8 push button interfaces. The set temperature is adjusted via the iON8 room controller, the R718 room thermostat, or the LUXORplay app.
When you leave the house in winter, for example, the “Away during winter” scene will be activated: Here, the temperature in the rooms will be lowered and raised again in a time-controlled manner shortly before you return home. In summer, the blinds on the hot south side of the house can be lowered for shading when you leave the house. At the same time, the cooling will be reduced. The LUXORliving weather station automatically positions the blinds depending on the time of day and sunlight. Moreover, time- or temperature-controlled cooling starts up again before you return to the house. These are just a few of the numerous options for scene control. It’s all in your hands!

Integration
of door and
window contacts
By integrating door and window contacts in LUXORliving, the air-conditioning system in the room can respond to opened windows and doors and increase energy efficiency.
For example, the heating can be turned down as soon as an open window is detected. This leads to big reductions in heating costs. You can also use the LUXORplay app to check the rooms in which a door or window is open and intervene in the temperature control, even if you are away from home.

You can use the LUXORliving KNX smart home system for every heating type, from a conventional boiler with radiators to underfloor or electric heating. LUXORliving offers the appropriate actuators, like the LUXORliving H6 for controlling 6 thermal actuators or the LUXORliving E1 for auxiliary electric heating, heated towel rail and infrared heating.
