LUXORplay is intuitively operated app for convenient and safe operation of LUXORliving via wireless LAN. The first time the phone establishes a connection to the system control centre, the app reads out the project file created at start-up and picks up all of the names assigned to rooms, switches, etc. As the graphical design is in a standard format, the system can be visualised in the app right from the very first time it is started up.
You can now visualise and change the status of lights, blinds, roller blinds, general settings and more, as well as create individual scenes or define times.

Since 2020, it has been possible to control LUXORliving with the Amazon Alexa voice assistant. This makes the lighting and blinds incredibly easy to adjust at home via voice control. All you need to get going is an account in the Theben Cloud and to have a LUXORliving system registered there.

LUXORliving can also be controlled via Google Assistant and the Google Home app. You will need the latest version of the free LUXORplay app along with access to the Theben Cloud and a system control centre registered there. You can now also say:

Alternatively, conventional push buttons can be used for operation. They are integrated into the system via push button interfaces or binary inputs. Push buttons are always used to control the system. Only for the “switch” function can you choose between “button” and “motion detector” (switch). The wall-mounted BI180 would be a suitable motion detector in this scenario.
The LUXORliving KNX smart home system can also be controlled and managed online via the Theben Cloud. Thanks to the BSI-certified data centre in Germany, you can rely on maximum data security and reliable protection against manipulation attempts.
All you need is the LUXORplay app, which you can use to control the LUXORliving functions via remote access in the Theben Cloud and monitor current statuses.
Keep everything under control: Activate and configure cloud access yourself in just a few clicks – without any network expertise. This means that third parties will not be able to access your user account. For servicing, you can transfer administration of the gateway to partners (e.g. an installer or the Theben service team).
Remote access via the Theben Cloud is free of charge in the first year. After the first 12 months, you can activate cloud access for €2.49 (including VAT) a month.
